The clear mission of this boat is to provide maximum fishability at an extreme value. The Ocean Skiff 27 is designed specifically for single outboard power. Coupled with today’s fuel-efficient outboards, offers significantly lower fuel, maintenance and insurance costs. Note: now available with diesel engine for even greater fuel efficiency.

The center console design offers room for a marine head while there is ample room on the dash to install a full line of marine electronics. The 130-gallon fish box plus 135- gallons of dry storage will keep the most dedicated anglers happy. Live bait fishermen will appreciate the standard 32-gallon livewell with additional capacity available as an option. Range is approximately 400 miles with a 130-gallon fuel tank, which is again standard. Just as important, the Ocean Skiff 27 is easily trailerable with her 8’6’ beam and 3,000 pound hull weight. Rugged Hull Construction

In keeping with the Ocean Master reputation for building rugged boats, the hull of the Ocean Skiff 27 is 100 percent hand-laid using only the finest laminates, resins, and gel coats to insure trouble-free service.

The stringer system of the Ocean Skiff 27 is equally impressive. Massive, full height, all fiberglass stringers are used. These stringers are completely fiberglassed into the hull making the boat a truly one-piece structure. Building the hull this way is much more time consuming than simply tabbing the stringers into place, but well worth it when superior construction is the result.

The inner liner deck of each Ocean Master is fully vacuum-bagged to ensure a complete bond between the fiberglass and core material. This technique produces a deck that is very strong and incredibly stiff. When you walk on an Ocean Master deck, you immediately notice the rock solid feel.

The inner liner deck is then bonded to the stringer and the bulkhead system using a state-of-the-art adhesive. The console is then attached to the deck using the same system plus using stainless steel screws.
